As far as I am concerned, Meredith has evolved beautifully with this new album. Her lyrics show she is still real, while the rhythms and guitar riffs seemed to have taken on a hint of funk, keeping it alive and rockin. She definitely hasn't lost her sense of humor in the last two years. She knows what she wants to say, and hearing it from this brilliant, beautiful musician, is something precious to be appreciated in this world. Still heavily promoting AMP, (anybody's mentoring program), as the choir in LAY DOWN was from a local LA high school, Meredith proves that there still is a lot of heart left in the world. Back to Deconstruction, it is nice to know she still has the versatility to release 12 songs that range from "dancin around the living room, to "lighting candles by yourself and stretching out on the couch." Something for everyone to relate to, Meredith sings about life....writes all her own songs...plays a mean guitar...produces her albums...spends a huge ammount of time mentoring high school students...works with charites...and adores her fans. the real thing!
