Worth the money even if you already have it... / 4
This is absolutely one of my favorite albums of 2004. I own this on CD and vinyl and decided to sell my CD and buy the DualDisc instead. I love the fact that I have a digital version of "I Got It All" now! A 5.1 surround mix would have been nice, but the stereo mix on the DVD side still sounds better than the CD-quality audio. The music videos are a cool thing to have, and the animations from the website are just a gimme.

Overall, if you don't own this album yet, pick up the DualDisc. If you do own this on CD, sell it and upgrade to the DualDisc you won't be sorry! It's definitely worth the extra $2.

I only gave this 4 stars because of the absense of a surround mix.

Song "Cowboy Dan"
Well, Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene
He goes to the reservation drinks and gets mean
He's gonna start a war
He hops in his pickup puts the pedal to the floor
And says "I got mine but I want more"
Well, Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene
He goes to the reservation drinks and gets mean
He drove the desert, fired his rifle in the sky
And says, "God if I have to die you will have to die"
Well, Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene
He goes the the reservation drinks and gets mean
I didn't move to the city, the city moved to me
And I want out desperately
Can't do it, not even if sober
Can't get that engine turned over
Standing in the tall grass
Thinking nothing
You know we need oxygen to breath
Everytime you think you're walking you're just moving the ground
Everytime you think you're talking you're just moving your mouth
Everytime you're looking you're just looking down
Well, Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene

Modest Mouse (Seattle Weekly)
Modest Mouse are a wonderfully wonky band. I've always likened them to an untamed animal. But musically, they are more akin to a bag full of instruments; turn them upside down and shake them just a little, and the whole mess will crash to the floor.

Top 5 (The Washington Times)
Respect your youngsters: Alt-rockers Modest Mouse will release their fifth album Tuesday with a ringer of a new member -- ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. Fifty-one-year-old Clash veteran Paul Simonon, too, has found a young employer in Blur/Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn, impresario of the new Brit-rock outfit the Good, the Bad & the Queen.
