DVD audio version much better than the CD audio version / 4
I've enjoyed every digital media release from the BMG, but after reading the glowing reviews of the DVD audio versions of the BMG releases ('Audio' and 'The Complex'), I decided to "re-purchase" 'Audio' on DVD Audio. (The following comments might be construed as hyperbole, but trust me...I'm not exaggerating -or- a "BMG reviewer plant".) If you have the 'Audio' CD and like it, buy the 'Audio' DVD audio version and you'll be even more in love. If you listened to 'Audio' and were lukewarm about it, try the DVD audio version, as it has a much different feel to it in DTS/Dolby 5.1. In the latter, you can hear a whole lot more in the mix...it makes the diverse sound of the BMG come out in a big way.
I will definitely be re-purchasing 'The Complex' on DVD-A after this purchase. Your mileage may vary, but I though I'd let you know what one man-on-the-street thought about this release.
