In 1985, Stevie Nicks returned to the charts and the public eye as a solo artist with the release of her third solo album entitled, ROCK A LITTLE. This album is just as incredible as 1983's THE WILD HEART. Stevie Nicks has yet to fail in her days as a Rock Diva.
I CAN'T WAIT
When I first heard this song, I thought to myself that Stevie just keeps getting better and better with the music. This is such a great song. To John Segar, from one diehard Stevie fan to another, my mistake in thinking Stevie never performed this. I don't remember where I read that she did not perform this song, but now I know that info was wrong. I actually found that I was wrong when I saw the tour's setlist on NicksFix.com. My mistake.
ROCK A LITTLE (GO AHEAD LILY)
The album's title track, which also includes a subtitle. This is a great abd subtle song that any Stevie Nicks fan can relax to.
SISTER HONEY
This is a real fun-filled song for the album. The energy is what the album needs and this song has energy.
I SING FOR THE THINGS
Madonna & Cher have had kick-a** Country Western inspired sounding songs and when I heard Stevie's Country Western song entitled, "I Sing For The Things", I said to myself, "Madonna & Cher now have a third Diva to add to their trio".
IMPERIAL HOTEL
When I read the song's title, I thought that the song was going to be a hit for me, but I was wrong this time. This song is not that worth the time.
SOME BECOME STRANGERS
Hearing this song really made up for that of "Imperial Hotel". This song's vibe is what makes this song perfect to just simply jam to.
TALK TO ME
When I heard this song for the first time, I immediately felt drawn to it. The music, the lyrics, the way Stevie sings the verses and choruses. Excellent song right here.
THE NIGHTMARE
The title alone is just great, but hearing the song convinced me after that. This song is one Stevie's greatest and I wish that Stevie would have released it as a single.
